As per reports, the keeper’s Volkswagen minivan hit a passenger train at Nubdorf am Haunsberg. This happened on Thursday morning around 8:30 am. In fact, the deceased was born and brought up in this same region. It was more like his native town in Salzburg, Austria. The train dragged his vehicle for several kilometers. Finally resulting in the spot death of this former footballer.
Sources claim that the first response came from locals. These people rushed to save the car and the driver. The man was found all alone in his Volkswagen minivan. Locals reported that they tried their best to free the driver from the car. Sadly it was too late to save his life. The people immediately called ambulance and informed the police.
Manninger was given quick CPR by the paramedics and police officers. However, this could not save his precious life. His family and friends were later informed by the officers. The train driver has been investigated by the police. However he is not taken into detention as the moment. No one could ever imagine that this former keeper will lose his life in his own hometown.
