It was another bad result for Chelsea tonight, and manager Liam Rosenior had to explain to TNT Sports what he’d seen happen in the game.

“We created many chances today, I don’t think the question is about the creation of the chances, it’s about the taking of them… today we were the dominant team from the first minute.”

He did spin positive about one thing – the fact there’s a midweek game coming up to give his team a chance to recover.

“I’m delighted that we have a game on Tuesday to get this out of our system, and we have to go to Brighton and put this right.”

It’s 6 defeats from 7 games for Chelsea now. Rosenior is in big, big trouble, and this team are not making it into the Champions League.

The financial and sporting fallout from this is going to be nasty. Lose to Brighton and the coach’s future has to be in serious doubt too.

In other news…

Estevao was taken off injured against Man U, and Rosenior had some disturbing reports about what he had seen from his player after the game.

Pedro Neto has called on this game to be a “turning point” for his team as they take on Man U.
