Bruno Fernandes was the man of the match for Manchester United against Chelsea, but he has been full of praise for his teammates in victory.
Manchester United secured three points against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday night with a performance that should thrill Michael Carrick.
Bruno Fernandes was the star of the show, with a brilliant assist for Matheus Cunha to open the scoring and take one big footstep into the Champions League places
It was a brilliant team performance from United to earn the win in a game in which Chelsea were the better side on paper. Fernandes, however, had specific praise for two names.

Bruno Fernandes hails Casemiro and Kobbie Mainoo
United’s man of the match outside of Fernandes could be any one of several names, with big performances coming in a crucial manner.
Speaking to TNT Sports after the game, Fernandes was quick to heap praise on his teammates.
This included Ayden Heaven and Senne Lammens, but he reserved special compliments for the midfield pair.

“Cas and Kobbie today were amazing, and vital for us to get the win today”, Fernandes marvelled about his two midfield teammates.
Fernandes is right to praise those behind him as the two midfielders ran the show and helped United survive the onslaught from Chelsea.
In particular, Mainoo was on another level for United.

Mainoo will only continue to get better for Manchester United
It was a statement performance from Mainoo against two £100m+ midfielders, as he dominated off the ball and also on it, running the show and having his best outing this season.
What makes Mainoo even more impressive is that he was doing a lot of heavy lifting with Casemiro, at times looking miles off it.
This is just the beginning for Mainoo, with these performances soon to be complemented by a new midfield partner who will be mobile, excellent on the ball, and physically dominant.
These traits would all highlight Mainoo’s main qualities and allow him to shine.
It is more important than ever that Ineos signs a midfield partner who platforms Mainoo and gets the best from him. Because the 21-year-old can run the league if given the foundations to do so.
