Last week’s 2-0 defeat to Brighton banged another nail into the coffin, with Burnley’s fate soon to be sealed.
While it can’t happen today, there’s a chance it could be confirmed as soon as Wednesday night when they host title challengers Manchester City.
Today they face a Forest side with a relegation battle of their own, coming off the back of a 1-1 draw against Aston Villa last weekend before their midweek European triumph against Porto.
Here’s all the important information ahead of today’s fixture:

Scott Parker’s pre-match comments
“It’s a strong side, a good side.
“Obviously it’s a different manager in there and we’re now going to their stadium as well, which is an intense place coming off of a good result in Europe.
“They’re obviously fighting for their lives, so I think we understand the dynamics of the game and what the game's going to bring really.
“There's definitely something on the game for both teams in terms of the predicament that both teams are in, so first and foremost, I think we need to be prepared for what we're going to face here. Then hopefully we can try and bring our quality into the game in terms of tactically and the way we go about things.
“But for sure, we're up against a good side that have obviously got some individual talent as well and have recruited a lot of players over the course of the last couple of years, which gives them a real strength. But like always, we're looking forward to that game.”
What are the predicted teams?
Forest: Sels, Aina, Murillo, Milenkovic, Williams, Sangare, Anderson, Hutchinson, Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi, Jesus
Burnley: Dubravka, Walker, Humphreys, Esteve, Humphreys, Laurent, Ward-Prowse, Ugochukwu, Edwards, Anthony, Flemming
