Manchester City smell blood after Arsenal's slip-up last time out, and the two Premier League title contenders will meet for a mouth-watering clash on Sunday afternoon

They don't come much bigger than this. Manchester City host Arsenal on Sunday in what's long been billed as a Premier League title decider.
Arsenal go into the clash with a six-point lead at the top, but it could all change in a matter of days. If City win here and then away to Burnley on Wednesday, Pep Guardiola's side will suddenly be in pole position to lift the trophy on goal difference.
But Mikel Arteta knows that a win or even a draw at the Etihad could be enough to push his team all the way until the finish line - and get revenge for last month's Carabao Cup final. After their shock 1-0 defeat at home to Bournemouth, though, nothing can be taken for granted during the run-in.

There is not a world in which I see Arsenal winning at Manchester City. I fear for Arsenal because this comes at a time when City look fresh, full of momentum and confidence.
In contrast, Arsenal look tired, worn down by the season and are running out of fuel at just the wrong time. Mikel Arteta has to understand why. We have also been here before in two of the last three seasons when City have hunted Arsenal down in the title race, appeared in their rearview mirror and are now in their heads.
It is a shame because overall Arsenal have been phenomenal this season. Let's not forget they have played good stuff at times. Maybe if they can get back to playing with freedom, remind themselves where they are and the opportunity ahead.
But I can't see it on Sunday. Arteta is saying the right things but, judging from recent performances, it's not getting through to the players. Contrast that with carefree Pep Guardiola and City playing with style, flair and belief. There is only one winner.

There is no doubt Mikel Arteta will arrive at the Etihad Stadium with a defensive plan but there is also little doubt City are in their most creative form of the season. And at the moment, in Rayan Cherki, they have the most inventive footballer in the Premier League.
But just as significantly, Rodri is getting back to his influential best. After his long lay-off and interrupted return, it has taken the 2024 Ballon d'Or winner some time to get back up to speed but he is now beginning to dominate midfield battles in familiar fashion.
In harness with Bernardo Silva, he was too much for Arsenal in the Carabao Cup final and it will be the same again in Manchester. City can still be got at but their vulnerability on the break has diminished, thanks in part to the form of Abdukodir Khusanov, whose pace helps cope with counter-attacking threats.
Quite simply, City look full of confidence right now - and Arsenal do not. It should be relatively straightforward for City.

Manchester City have finally clicked into gear and it's an ominous sign for Arsenal. Pep Guardiola just knows how to get his side performing just at the right time to ensure they get over the line and that's exactly what's happening right now.
At the other end of the spectrum, Arsenal are showing some serious end-of-season jitters. The Emirates is a really nervous place right now. If anything, the Gunners are actually turning into their worst enemies. It might actually help them playing away this weekend.
They can almost relax a bit and I reckon they will. If they can get those emotions in check, then they are certainly capable of going to the Etihad and getting a result. But that would all depend on their creativity. Arteta's side haven’t been particularly threatening over recent weeks.
They could set up to frustrate City but that plan has been employed by a fair few in the past to little success. And while Arsenal will have a go, they will slip to a narrow defeat.

Manchester City have won four in a row across all competitions and I think Pep Guardiola's side will make it five by beating Arsenal on Sunday. City seem to have found their groove in recent weeks and when they play like they did in the second half of the win at Chelsea, they are a difficult object to stop.
Arsenal, in contrast, are arguably in their worst run of form this season and looked abject and toothless in the goalless draw to Sporting Lisbon on Wednesday. Despite qualifying for the Champions League semi-final, the Gunners have won just one of their last five matches, scoring just THREE times in the process.
With City at home and having the Etihad crowd on their side, I just can't see a way where they don't win and then close the gap to Arsenal to just three points in the race for the Premier League title.
I don't think it'll be high scoring - as it never is between these two - but I think City will win 2-0. Bernardo Silva to open the scoring in the first half before Erling Haaland secures the three points on the counter-attack late in the second half.
