Alejandro Garnacho was confident that he was taking his career to a new level when he left Manchester United for Chelsea in the summer.
When Alejandro Garnacho lashed out at Ruben Amorim, it was the final nail in the coffin for his Manchester United career.
A £40 million move to Chelsea followed in the summer transfer market, and the toxicity of his exit means the once proud Carrington graduate is now a banished name among the United fanbase.
At Stamford Bridge, during United’s 1-0 win over Chelsea, Alejandro Garnacho was jeered and booed by the travelling United fanbase and the result should make the Argentine rethink his previous comments.

Alejandro Garnacho was wrong about Chelsea being a step up
As quoted by The Guardian, back in December, Garnacho claimed that swapping United for Chelsea was a “step forward” in his career.
“Sometimes in life you have to change things to take a step forward or improve as a player,” Garnacho said. “I think it was the right moment and the right club, so it was an easy decision. I came here to play my football and show people the player I am.”
Just a few months later, Chelsea are now in sixth having lost four consecutive Premier League matches. Their Champions League qualification hopes are slipping away while United have solidified their third-place position under Michael Carrick.

Alejandro Garnacho must have Man Utd regrets
When he was forcing his way out of Old Trafford, Garnacho was warned about leaving United and making a big mistake in his career trajectory.
In the last few weeks, it seems Garnacho is being more honest and open about his actions when leaving the club.

Garnacho admitted to doing ‘bad things’ in his final few months at the club, and Garnacho’s recent social media activity hints that he may have some regrets about his summer move.
Unfortunately for the young winger, he burned bridges on his way out of the club and United fans are unforgiving towards players who openly disrespect the badge.
