Wolves fans share their thoughts following another defeat on the road

We’ve known where this has been heading for quite a while. There were flickers before the international break a bit of fight, a bit of belief but deep down, no one truly thought we’d pull off an escape. And the last 2 games have brutally underlined why.
Going away to sides down there with us and putting in performances like that simply isn’t good enough!
Right now, it just feels like we’re going through the motions and for a club like Wolves, it’s unacceptable.

Leeds went for the throat from kick off and the Wolves goalmouth was like a pinball machine.
Another abysmal first half performance by Wolves. Relegation virtually assured!
Leeds who hadn’t scored for three home games hit Wolves with two soft goals in two minutes.
Manager Edwards looked lost on the touchline, devoid of any ideas! He brought on Mane for the disappointing Angel Gomes but he could have changed all eleven!
In the second half further changes brought on Pedro Lima for the ineffective Tchatchoua. Rodrigo Gomes for Bellegarde and then amazingly Hwang for the injured Krejci!
Why Tolu Arokodare didn’t start is beyond me. He obviously doesn’t appear to be in Edwards good books.
The board showed 10 minutes injury time and Calvert-Lewin won and converted Leeds third goal on 95 minutes.
The end of the season can’t come soon enough. Wolves season is long over!
Complete clear out needed before the Championship battles. The possibilities of a straight return look extremely unlikely!

Relegation is inevitable. I travelled to the last two away games and, honestly, the performances have been shocking. There is no cohesion, no unity, and nowhere near enough fight from this team.
The biggest frustration is that this has not come out of nowhere. The ineptitude at senior management level has dragged us into this mess, and now everyone else is paying the price. The fans have kept turning up, but the football has been nowhere near good enough.

As today was the day when we could have possibly defended our time in the PL for a little longer, I was waiting for a great selection, waiting for players to come out fighting and some good football, all of which was absent.
After watching the Leeds v Man Utd match you could see they would be quick on the ball, using their width, not giving time on the ball and also that against them a good presence up front was needed. Apart from that we needed to keep it tight, no sloppy first touches or passing errors.
As soon as I saw the team sheet my heart sank. No Tolu against their defense! No Rodrigo Gomes and Adam Armstrong the sole striker.
The game started and you could just see where it was going. Caught on the ball, terrible errors and the tactics of long balls and crosses with no height up front.
Jackson Tchatchuoa was just terrible. Can’t pass, tackle or cross a ball at all. Toti was error after error and not at all up to the game.
We.conceded and then straight away again! Why? Errors.
Rob looked clueless on the touchline. My question is – Is Tolu injured? If not, why did he not come on that pitch and more so start?
Why bring on Lima today? The guy has sat on the bench for how long and today you bring him on? Both Jackson and Lima in front of Rodrigo Gomes?
The substitutions were wrong and late and from start to finish for me it was just defeat written all over it.
No fight, no grit and just terrible.
MOTM – J. Gomes as he was the best of the bunch. He looked frustrated.
Performance Rating 2
Best moment – being put out our misery and not hoping for miracles because it’s painful when you feel as fans you are the only ones that actually care!

They’ve lost the will to fight. The players have let themselves and the fans down. There’s no shape in the team. 5 games left and I can’t see a win coming from this team. It’s embarrassing.

We are all disappointed today, and parts of that performance were embarrassing. This was always going to be a tough ask, but we should have at least given Leeds United a proper game. We were hoping for one moment, one spark, something to keep the belief alive, but it just never really came.
From the start, the warning signs were there. Leeds pressed us well, and we looked shaky because of it. The two goals we conceded in quick succession summed up a lot of what has gone wrong this season. The players already looked to have the relegation situation on their minds, and that lack of confidence showed.
It does make you wonder whether the group has already accepted what is coming, or whether there are deeper problems still at play. Either way, the first half was nowhere near good enough.
The second half was better in terms of effort and how we played, but by then the damage had already been done. Rob should have made changes earlier. One substitution was not enough. We needed two or three at that stage to give us more energy and a better chance of competing.
We did create a few chances and tested the goalkeeper, but it felt too little, too late. If we had scored earlier, it might have made the finish more interesting, but we never showed enough fighting spirit for long enough. In the end, it was another game that got away from us.
Now the relegation reality feels even closer. The rebuild will have to begin in the summer, and hopefully that means bringing in players who are ready for the challenge and willing to come back stronger.
