Former West Ham goalscorer Kevin Nolan appears close to finalising the next move in his managerial career.
Nolan has already had three managerial jobs since retiring as a player in 2018: Leyton Orient, Notts County and, most recently, Northampton Town.
The 43-year-old also worked as a first-team coach under David Moyes at West Ham between 2020 and 2024.
Nolan is now set to reunite with former Hammers teammate Andy Carroll in a new role weeks after leaving Northampton.

Kevin Nolan ‘lined up’ for Dagenham & Redbridge job
Journalist Pete O’Rourke has reported that Kevin Nolan is being “lined up for the vacant manager’s job at Dagenham & Redbridge.”
Dag & Red are 13th in the National League South table with one game to go against Slough Town next weekend.
Nolan would surely take charge over the summer and have a full pre-season to work with the players.

Dag & Red are currently managed by ex-England striker Andy Carroll, who played with Nolan at West Ham and Newcastle.
Carroll is a player, interim manager and owner at the non-league club, with multiple years left on his contract.

If Nolan were to join Dag & Red, the forward would likely return to the starting line-up and score a lot of goals.
Taking the job could be seen as a significant backward step for Nolan, but the club has more potential than some may realise.
Dag & Red were recently taken over by the Happy Fan Group, led by YouTube superstar KSI (Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji).
With his multi-million-strong fanbase, the National League South team could rise through the divisions like Wrexham AFC have done recently.
The sky-high potential and the opportunity to reunite with Carroll could make this a perfect next step in Nolan’s unpredictable coaching career.
