Arsenal have also reportedly entered the race for Atalanta midfielder Ederson, potentially hijacking Manchester United’s long-standing pursuit of the Brazilian international. According to The Athletic, the Gunners are attempting to secure the 26-year-old’s signature ahead of their Premier League rivals.
United have been strongly linked with Ederson for the past 18 months, but Arsenal’s late entry into the race could complicate their plans. The midfielder has just one year remaining on his contract with Atalanta and is unlikely to extend his stay in Bergamo.
