Cole Palmer was seen shouting at Alejandro Garnacho in the aftermath of Manchester United's winning goal against Chelsea. The Red Devils claimed a 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge on Saturday to solidify their chase for Champions League qualification next season.
Matheus Cunha scored the only goal of the game in west London courtesy of Bruno Fernandes' 18th Premier League assist of the campaign. Amid the Brazilian performing his signature 'surf' celebration, an incensed Palmer was spotted airing his frustration at Garnacho for not properly challenging Fernandes before the United captain was able to cross the ball into the box for Cunha.
The England star was caught waving his hands at the despondent ex-United star in yet another blow in a disappointing debut campaign at Chelsea. The 21-year-old has scored eight goals across all competitions this season, with just one coming in the league.
Without a league goal since October, Garnacho has come under fire for his dire displays of late, leading to speculation that the Blues could decide to part ways with the winger.
The youngster has also caused controversy on social media by recently deleted every reference to Chelsea from his TikTok page with some suggesting losing his place to Pedro Neto has resulted in Garnacho becoming unhappy.
Prior to his £40m move to London, Garnacho had spent five years at Old Trafford but was put on the transfer list by former manager Ruben Amorim who declared the forward available for sale after the Europa League final defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
The Argentine opened up about his final months in Manchester before Saturday's clash and admitted he began doing "bad things" when losing his place in the team. Speaking to Premier League Productions, Garnacho said: "I remember that, in the last six months, I was not playing like before at Manchester United.
"I started to be on the bench. It’s not such a bad thing – I was only 20 years old – but in my mind it was like I had to play every game. In my mind, maybe it was also on me. I started to do some bad things.
"But it was just a moment in life and sometimes you have to make decisions. I am really proud to be [at Chelsea] and still in the Premier League at a club like this. About United, I have nothing wrong to say about the club, anyone at the club or my team-mates. It was just a moment that changed and life continues. I have no regrets."

The weekend defeat was the fourth in a row for Liam Rosenior's side who now sit seven points behind fifth-placed Liverpool. Currently level on points with Brentford and Bournemouth while being just a point ahead of Brighton and Everton, the Blues could quickly slide down the table should a rapid turnaround in form not occur.
