Liam Rosenior has provided an injury update ahead of Chelsea's clash against Brighton. The Blues could be without a few big names when they face Fabian Hurzeler's side at the Amex Stadium on Tuesday night as they look to return to winning ways.
Following a 1-0 defeat to Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening, Chelsea have lost, and failed to score, in each of their last four Premier League games. It's the first time that the west Londoners have endured such a barren run in the English top-flight since November 1912.
Joao Pedro missed Chelsea's clash against the Red Devils over the weekend after suffering a minor thigh injury in training. football.london understands that the 24-year-old striker was 'touch and go', but ultimately failed a late fitness test.
Speaking to reporters at Cobham training ground on Monday afternoon, Rosenior revealed that Pedro has since returned to action. The Blues boss said: "Joao [Pedro] will be a late call. He was on the pitch today, we will make a decision tomorrow morning."

Estevao suffered a hamstring injury during the defeat to Manchester United on Saturday night, and he was forced to come off. On the 18-year-old winger, Rosenior said: "Este is definitely out for tomorrow. We are doing further tests."
Enzo Fernandez also appeared to suffer an injury at the weekend after landing awkwardly inside the opposition box. When quizzed on the 25-year-old midfielder, the Chelsea boss said: "Enzo is absolutely fine."

Rosenior was also asked to provide an update on Levi Colwill, who suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury at the start of pre-season. On whether the 23-year-old defender could make an appearance before the end of the season, the Blues boss said: "Very hopefully, yes.
"We can see him before the end of the season. He played 60 minutes which is a very good start for him. We want him to be involved for the under-21s on Saturday too."
Chelsea have fallen seven points behind Liverpool in the race for qualification to the Champions League.
