Newcastle trio Sandro Tonali, Bruno Guimaraes and Lewis Hall are all players of interest, along with Bournemouth‘s Alex Scott and Marcus Tavernier.
However, TEAMtalk report that the “central reason” for scouts attending the match was to see Eli Kroupi in action.

Bournemouth won’t allow Kroupi to leave on the cheap
The 19-year-old is highly rated by United’s recruitment team, and they see his positional flexibility as one of his best attributes, with the Manchester club seeing him as a potential replacement for Joshua Zirkzee..
However, Kroupi’s asking price is pretty steep. Bournemouth are said to be demanding in excess of £60m for a player they signed for just £10m at the start of 2025.
Man Utd will face fierce competition for the striker
One of the reasons why Bournemouth are confident that they can hold out for such a sizeable sum is the interest being shown in Kroupi from other Premier League teams.
The likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea are also keeping close tabs on the teenager, while there are plenty of high-profile clubs on the continent, including Real Madrid, who are watching his development as well.
Any move for Kroupi would hinge on United’s transfer budget. Reinforcing the midfield is the top priority, but if money can be raised from the departures of unwanted players, it could lead to a bid being made for the Bournemouth star.
