Aurelien Tchouameni, rumours

FootballTransfers runs through the biggest rumours from 21 April, including the latest updates on Aurelien Tchouameni, Lucas Bergvall and Cristian Romero.
Man Utd shortlist Tchouameni
Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni features prominently on Man Utd's shortlist of Casemiro replacement, The Telegraph reports.
The France international could be sold because Los Blancos will likely have to raise funds before they can sign midfield reinforcements such as Man City star Rodri or Enzo Fernandez of Chelsea.
Tchouameni or teammate Eduardo Camavinga could be sacrificed, which has alerted Man Utd to the possibility of a blockbuster transfer. The 26-year-old cost Real Madrid €80 million back in 2022.
Arsenal, Chelsea interested in Bergvall

Arsenal and Chelsea are both interested in Tottenham midfielder Lucas Bergvall, TEAMtalk claims.
With Spurs at serious risk of dropping down to the Championship, suitors are beginning to circle for their most valuable players. Bergvall is regarded as one of the most important stars of the North London club's project and was previously deemed unsellable.
However, Tottenham may struggle to keep hold of him should they indeed get relegated. London rivals Arsenal and Chelsea are both looking to benefit from Spurs' misery.
Man Utd eye Romero
Another Tottenham star attracting interest is captain Cristian Romero. Man Utd are the latest club to mull over a move for the defender, as per CaughtOffside.
Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano recently revealed that the Argentine is fully expected to depart Spurs this summer, with both parties in agreement that it is best to part ways after this hugely disappointing season for the player and the club at large.
Atletico Madrid have been strongly linked with Romero, but Man Utd have also begun monitoring his situation, believing that he could be an "attractive option" this summer.

Ahanor to snub Premier League clubs
Atalanta wonderkid Honest Ahanor is in line for a new long-term contract, Nicolo Schira states.
The teenage centre-back has emerged as one of the most promising defenders in European football, drawing interest from numerous Premier League clubs, including Arsenal.
However, Atalanta are determined to tie Ahanor down to a new contract, which would most likely rule out a summer transfer. The Bergamo club want to keep him for at least one more season.
Gordon wants to emulate Olise
Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon has been "inspired" by Michael Olise's success at Bayern Munich, according to Sacha Tavolieri.
The England star is being chased by various clubs ahead of the summer, and it is understood that he is open to a departure from Newcastle. It has been claimed that he would favour a move to Arsenal because they are based in London.
However, it is now stated that Gordon is also willing to join Bayern, following the sensational impact of other former Premier League stars at the club, such as Olise, Harry Kane and Luis Diaz.
