Arsenal have been eyeing several wingers like Anthony Gordon and Yan Diomande.
Gabriel Martinelli’s future under Mikel Arteta is in the air.
The Arsenal target could be set to join another European club.
Arsenal have been linked with a whole host of wingers such as Bradley Barcola, Anthony Gordon and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia as Gabriel Martinelli could be set to ply his trade elsewhere in the summer.
Barcola and Gordon are admired by Arsenal and their affiliation for both is longstanding.
As for Kvaratskelia, as much as Arsenal like him, the move is unlikely.
Martinelli’s future is uncertain as the Gunners may only hand him a one-year contract extension beyond 2027 if he is happy to remain a squad player.
Newcastle ready to sell Anthony Gordon to Bayern Munich
As far as their transfer targets as concerned, Bayern Munich have held talks with Gordon already as they are keen to sign him as a backup for Luis Diaz.
With PSG planning not to sell Barcola and Kvaratskhelia, Mikel Arteta’s side could find it difficult to bring in their dream left-winger in the summer.
That process could even become harder as an update has emerged about Gordon.
The Times have claimed that Newcastle United will sell the Carabao Cup winner to Bayern if they fork out their valuation of £75 million for the former Everton speedster, who was 17 goals and five assists this season.

Initially, Eddie Howe’s side were unwilling to offload the England international to the Bundesliga champions as they were willing to pay £55 million to secure Gordon’s services.
As things stand, Bayern are the frontrunners in the race to sign the 25-year-old over Arsenal and Liverpool, with the player believed to be open to a switch to Germany as well.
While Newcastle and Bayern are yet to hold talks involving Gordon, the player’s representatives are expected to enter into official negotiations over a transfer with Vincent Kompany’s men.
Arsenal hit roadblock in Yan Diomande pursuit
Arsenal have been eyeing Yan Diomande, who is widely regarded as of the most talented wide players in world football.
However, Diomande’s representatives have spoken to Liverpool and PSG about his potential departure.
Andrea Berta could have a tall task on his hands in his pursuit for a new left-winger.
The fact that Mikel Arteta benched both Martinelli and Leandro Trossard in Arsenal’s latest 2-1 defeat against Manchester City may be a message to Berta that he is desperate to reinforce the position.
