Nico O'Reilly has warned Arsenal that Manchester City are hungrier than ever to win back the Premier League title.
City struck a major blow in the title race with a thrilling 2-1 win over Arsenal at the Etihad on Sunday.
Arsenal remain three points clear at the top of the table. But City have a game in hand - and can overtake them with a win over Burnley Wednesday night by two goals of more.
And O'Reilly has challenged Pep Guardiola's men to produce the perfect end to the season, by winning all six of their remaining games to pip Arsenal to the crown.
The England star said: "We just need to focus on ourselves. We need to approach every game going in to win. We're still not top of the league, so I think we need to keep going and then we'll see. Everyone knows how tight it is now. I think it (Arsenal result) means a lot.
"We're hungry for it. We want it, we just need to keep going and stay focused. There's not much thinking to do, we've got go out there and put 100 per cent effort in every game."
O'Reilly wants City to take the same mindset into the Burnley game as they showed against Arsenal.
He added: "It's a massive game. All the games for the rest of the season are massive games - and we need to go and win them. Put in good performances, score goals and we'll see how it goes. We need to go into Wednesday, like we did on Sunday. The same mindset."
City will also reprise their 2023 Champions League final showdown with Inter Milan in Hong Kong this summer.
The sides will meet in the Asahi Super Dry Trophy at the Kai Tak Stadium on Saturday, August 1 during the Hong Kong Football Festival. It will be the first time City have travelled to the former British colony since 2019
Despite meeting in pre-season fixtures in Baltimore in 2010 and Dublin the following year, City and Serie A giants Inter have only gone head-to-head in competitive fixtures on two occasions.
Most famously, they fought out the 2023 Champions League final at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, where Rodri’s goal secured a 1-0 win for Guardiola’s men.
Their only other clash came in the same competition last season when the sides drew 0-0 at the Etihad Stadium during the group phase.
