“I believe that Arsenal will win the league. I deeply believe. It looks, to me, like common sense," Wenger said, at a Twinning Project event shortly after Manchester City's 2-1 win.
"I like Eze, Odegaard, Havertz and Madueke attacking. Manchester City will not make the perfect run-in.”
Should Manchester City win at Burnley on Wednesday night by two-or-more goals, Pep Guardiola's side will leapfrog Arsenal into top spot with five games remaining.
Man City have Brentford, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa left to play at the Etihad Stadium, as well as trips to face Everton and Bournemouth.
Arsenal, on the other hand, host Newcastle, Fulham and Burnley. The Gunners are also scheduled to play away at West Ham United and Palace before the season's end, but have the added complication of a two-legged Champions League semi-final bout with Atletico Madrid.
