“Against a Leeds side..” – Liam Rosenior admits Chelsea worry ahead of Leeds United’s FA Cup…

After facing Bournemouth on Wednesday night, all eyes are on Leeds United’s FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.

The Whites have a historic week awaiting us as we plan to secure an even stronger Premier League position against Bournemouth tomorrow night.

After that, we head down to Wembley for a mouthwatering FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea. In which, we should be fancying our chances.

Leeds United eyeing stunning FA Cup triumph against Chelsea at Wembley

When you get this far in the FA Cup, there’s no choice but to get carried away and dreaming of winning the entire thing.

I haven’t had any FA Cup joy with supporting Leeds in my lifetime, so to see us in the flesh in a semi-final is dreamland. Now, beating Chelsea would be even better.

The form of both sides at the moment makes for good reading too, from an Elland Road persuasion.

The Blues are on a slide potentially out of European qualification altogether in the Premier League. Liam Rosenior’s wretched run of form leaves Chelsea still sitting sixth, but importantly only three points ahead of 12th-placed Fulham.

Liam Rosenior wary of Leeds United threat in FA Cup semi-final

For Leeds and Chelsea, all focus is solely on the rearranged Premier League fixtures this week. Brighton away looms for the Blues in less than an hour, while Leeds face Bournemouth tomorrow.

Rosenior knows he’s under pressure to deliver not only European football at Stamford Bridge, but also an FA Cup final with the expectation they beat survival-battling Leeds.

However, Rosenior is well aware of the form Leeds come to Wembley boasting, as he previewed Sunday’s clash.

“It’s a massive week, it’s what you’re in football for,” Rosenior told Football.London.

“We’ve got a huge game tomorrow night and then an FA Cup semi-final against a Leeds team in form.”

Leeds United must continue same intensity against Chelsea after Old Trafford heroics

The way to get at this Chelsea side was on display when we completely stunned Man Utd at Old Trafford last week.

We were out of the blocks like a flash, pressing high and being brave on the ball to ask questions of the opposition. Chelsea need to be dealt the same issues.

If we perform in the same way we did at Old Trafford, I’d be confident we have enough to stun Chelsea and get to the FA Cup final.
