Liam Rosenior had another night to forget on Tuesday following Chelsea’s loss to Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium.
Chelsea were completely outclassed by Brighton, losing 3-0 to the Seagulls. It is the fifth consecutive game in the Premier League where the Blues have lost and failed to score.
Unsurprisingly, Chelsea fans are not pleased with Rosenior, while the 41-year-old also appears to have lost support from some on the club’s board.
Chelsea continuing to make history under Liam Rosenior… for all the wrong reasons!
Some Chelsea figures want Liam Rosenior gone ahead of meeting
Following their latest loss in the Premier League, journalist Sebastien Vidal has claimed on X that some of the decision-makers at Chelsea want Rosenior to be removed from his position ahead of a meeting about his future on Wednesday.
If Chelsea do decide to part ways with Rosenior now or at the end of the season, there are some interesting names available.
Andoni Iraola, who has done an excellent job at Bournemouth, could be one option for the Club World Cup winners.
Iraola is set to leave the Cherries, but not until the summer, meaning that Chelsea would have to appoint a caretaker in the meantime.
Another Spaniard, Xabi Alonso, is also available after his dismissal from Real Madrid back in January.
Former Premier League striker Troy Deeney has already told Chelsea to hire Iraola, though he cannot see it happening.
Chelsea fans, if Liam Rosenior was sacked before the FA Cup semi-final, who would you want to see in charge?

Chelsea’s hopes of qualifying for the Champions League are gone. In fact, after dropping below Brighton in the Premier League table following their loss to them, they may not even qualify for the Europa League.
However, the Conference League holders still have a shot at winning the FA Cup, but only if their players turn up against Leeds United in the semi-finals on Sunday.
Right now, they look incapable of doing that under Rosenior, who seems to have lost them at this point. With that in mind, Chelsea should consider an immediate managerial change.
