A lot of Liam Rosenior’s faith was put in Pedro Neto to lead the Chelsea attack, however he was openly ignoring instructions from his manager in the defeat to Brighton.
Liam Rosenior named just Pedro Neto and Liam Delap in the frontline against the Seagulls with injury concerns ruling out Joao Pedro and Cole Palmer.
However, both attackers scored poorly in our player ratings and ultimately carried on the poor form that has plagued them for most of the season.
Chelsea fans, if Liam Rosenior was sacked before the FA Cup semi-final, who would you want to see in charge?

Pedro Neto ignores Liam Rosenior’s advice during Chelsea’s loss to Brighton
The performance from Neto in particular will be really frustrating to the boss, who clearly thought he could do more in some of the 1v1 battles he was left with.
In the 51st minute with the score at 1-0 to Brighton, the Portugal international picked up the ball on the halfway line before finding himself 1v1 with Pascal Gross, not known for his pace.

Rosenior can be heard begging his winger to take his man on, however after seemingly running out of ideas, he turns back and the attack is over.
This was just one example of a number of times where Chelsea looked far too negative, and couldn’t stamp their authority on the game.
It is exactly this situation where Rosenior will be pointing to when he says he doesn’t believe his players showed enough desire to win.

Chelsea players look to have given up on Liam Rosenior
Rosenior also hinted that it looked as if the players weren’t actually fighting for him anymore, as their nightmare run of form continues in the Premier League.
This is a very difficult situation to recover from for a manager, and defeat in the FA Cup semi-final against Leeds will surely be the final straw.
Some of the players also seem to be disagreeing with the manager’s viewpoint on the game. Trevoh Chalobah took exception to the boss’ comments that they were not running hard enough.
With no clear candidate coming forward at the moment, the Englishman will almost certainly still be leading the Blues out at Wembley this weekend.
