In our latest episode of Arsenal Explained, we're celebrating the first black player to wear our famous jersey, Brendon Batson.
Born in Grenada to a Trinidadian family, Brendon came to England as a nine-year-old in 1962, and 10 years on, he made his Arsenal debut against Newcastle United in March 1972.
Brendon hadn't even seen a football during his time in the Caribbean, but within a decade of reaching these shores, he was turning out in N5.
