Rosenior is going through a really tough period as Chelsea manager, and most Chelsea fans want him sacked immediately. Chelsea’s owners appear to still be deciding on whether they are going to stick or twist with their head coach that they only took on in January.

“Chelsea’s sporting leadership are now discussing what to do next. They are taking stock of the situation after last night’s shocking performance at Brighton. Although the club have backed Liam Rosenior up to this point, football is ultimately a results business. It’s too early to say whether Rosenior will definitely be in charge for the Leeds game on Sunday. As things stand, he remains in charge, but the situation could change. Chelsea players have the day off today.”
In other news today
Gary Cahill tried his best to be positive about Chelsea’s performance against Brighton, but even he found today’s game a “hard watch” and says there were “no positives”.
Chelsea’s loss at Brighton means they’ve lost fives league games without scoring for the first time since 1912. So they have now broken one of the oldest records in history.
