Loum Tchaouna is surprisingly handed a start, his first in the league for the Clarets since the defeat to Newcastle United at the end of December.
The winger has endured a poor debut season at Turf Moor, scoring just one league goal and struggling to make an impression.
Bashir Humphreys and Josh Laurent also come into the starting XI, which indicates Burnley are going to line up in a back five.
Jordan Beyer, Connor Roberts, Josh Cullen, Hannibal and Zeki Amdouni all remain sidelined, while Axel Tuanzebe, Jacob Bruun Larsen and Ashley Barnes are not involved.

As for City, they’re without Rodri after the midfielder picked up a groin injury during their crucial 2-1 win over title rivals Arsenal on Sunday.
Rayan Ait-Nouri takes his place in the side, resulting in Nico O’Reilly pushing forward into midfield.
