Chelsea owner Behdad Eghbali is personally leaning towards the club hiring Andoni Iraola as their new first team manager.
The Blues decided today to part ways with Liam Rosenior after a woeful run of Premier League results, culminating in the 3-0 defeat to Brighton.
Chelsea fans chanted abuse at Rosenior at the Amex on Tuesday to prove they had completely lost faith in the manager, and the club made the tricky decision to part ways after just three months at the helm.

Behdad Eghbali selects Andoni Iraola to become the new Chelsea manager
Calum McFarlane is set to take over for the rest of the season, including the now-crucial FA Cup semi-final against Leeds United, with a permanent appointment expected for the new campaign.
Andoni Iraola’s time at Bournemouth is set to come to an end at the end of the season, and TalkSport have reported that he is at the top of Behdad Eghbali’s shortlist to become the new head coach at Stamford Bridge.

The Spaniard coached two draws against Enzo Maresca’s side this season, including a 2-2 draw in West London which helped the former manager eventually lose his job.
There will no doubt be caution amongst Chelsea fans regarding news that their ownership are set to make a decision on who the new manager will be.
Reports at the time suggested that the decision to hire Graham Potter came directly from Todd Boehly, with that relationship lasting less than a year too.

Andoni Iraola’s managerial record
Iraola has managed to win 46 of his 122 games as Bournemouth manager, however his recent run of form has seen big clubs sit up and take note.
The Cherries are unbeaten in the Premier League since January 3, a time period where Chelsea have completely capitulated in the race for Champions League football.
These impressive results have come despite him continuing to lose his best players such as Dean Huijsen and Antoine Semenyo.
Chelsea have time to make the decision on their next permanent manager, however will struggle to do better than Iraola.
