Manchester City secured a 1-0 win at Burnley on Wednesday to leapfrog Arsenal and move top of the Premier League table.
The result meant that City had successfully reeled in the Gunners’ nine-point lead at the summit, following up their 2-1 win over the north Londoners at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
Erling Haaland netted the decisive goal on six minutes to earn Pep Guardiola’s men a huge three points that gives them the upper hand in the title race.
