Manchester City continued their charge toward the Premier League title by replacing Arsenal at the top of the table after they beat Burnley at Turf Moor.
Erling Haaland struck just five minutes into the game as Pep Guardiola’s side ended Arsenal’s 200-day reign at the top, but only on goals scored. Rayan Cherki and Haaland both hit the post as City ended the night having had 28 attempts at goal.
The defeat for Burnley means they will also play their football in the Sky Bet Championship next season. While Guardiola’s side were without Rodri for the game, and with that in mind, we have rounded-up the latest City injury news.

Rodri
Rodri went off during the 2-1 victory over Arsenal at the Etihad on Sunday afternoon.
The Spaniard went down clutching his groin in the closing stages of the match before being substituted by Nico Gonzalez.
After missing Wednesday’s win over the Clarets, the midfielder could return against Southampton in the semi-final of the FA Cup at Wembley this weekend.
Potential return date: Southampton - FA Cup semi-final (April 25).

Ruben Dias
Ruben Dias is not expected to play again this month and has been missing since being withdrawn at the interval during the Champions League loss to Real Madrid at the Etihad.
Potential return date: Everton (May 4).
Josko Gvardiol
Josko Gvardiol is another Manchester City player who faces a battle against the clock to feature once more before another Premier League campaign draws to a close.
The Croatian was withdrawn with a fractured leg during the home clash with Chelsea on January 4. He has since had an operation, and the expectation would have been to see him return to training before the season ends, but the probability is that he will be fully recovered for pre-season.
Potential return date: Pre-season 2026.
