That’s according to The Sun, which adds that United would demand around £34 million – £8m more than they’re asking of Barcelona via his buy option.

Yet, one stumbling block that would hinder their pursuit is that the Carrington graduate is set on continuing with Barcelona beyond the summer. If not, you’d imagine he’d want a club that has Champions League football to offer.
