The City duo were instrumental at both ends of the pitch for Andrée Jeglertz’s side in what was another incredible run of results which saw City extend our lead at the WSL summit.
Our month began with a tense 0-0 draw at Aston Villa, before a five-star performance in our 5-2 triumph over Tottenham Hotspur at the Joie Stadium.
The Blues completed the month with an emphatic 3-0 win at Old Trafford against Manchester United as we sit nine points clear with just three league games left to play.
Looking closer at the impact of the City pair nominated for the March award, Shaw bagged the fastest hat-trick in WSL history in our victory over Spurs, getting three goals in 12 minutes and 37 seconds.
VOTE FOR SHAW HERE
While she wasn’t on the scoresheet in our Manchester derby, Shaw dragged United’s backline, carried the ball with confidence and showcased brilliant link-up play with her team-mates to help seal a clinical 3-0 triumph in Trafford.

Skipper, Greenwood, helped City earn two clean sheets, an aspect of the title race that is just as important as scoring goals.
The versatile defender once again led by example, providing an option on the left flank when City attacked and put in vital interceptions and tackles when Jeglertz’s team needed to defend.
VOTE FOR GREENWOOD HERE
And in our wins over Spurs and United, Greenwood’s set-piece technique shone through again as she teed up Shaw and Vivianne Miedema from corner kicks.
The City duo are nominated alongside Chloe Kelly (Arsenal), Alessia Russo (Arsenal), Ceri Holland (Liverpool), and Sjoeke Nüsken (Chelsea).
