Manu Zinsberger to leave Arsenal at the end of the season

Arsenal goalkeeper Manu Zinsberger will leave the club when her contract expires this summer, the club have confirmed. Zinsberger joined the club from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2019, winning two Conti Cups in 2023 and 2024 and the Champions League in 2025.

Zinsberger, who has over 100 caps for Austria, has appeared 143 times for Arsenal, keeping 51 clean sheets. Unfortunately none of those appearances have occurred this season as Manu ruptured her ACL in training earlier in the campaign.

Pre-season at a new club ought to fit nicely with her recovery timeline having ruptured her ACL in October. With Daphne van Domselaar and Anneke Borbe in the squad, Zinsberger will depart this summer. As well as being Arsenal’s number 1 goalkeeper over several seasons, Manu is well loved at the club due to her infectious, positive personality.
