Arsenal and Atlético Madrid are among clubs chasing Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Brandt for the summer.
The 29-year-old has a contract expiring in June and will leave the Signal Iduna Park as a free agent. Both the player and BVB have confirmed his summer exit.
This makes the Germany international a market opportunity for Arsenal, Atlético Madrid and other clubs.
Last month, Sport Witness covered claims from Germany that the Gunners and Barcelona are in the picture to sign him.
He’s fluent in Spanish and has a Catalan girlfriend, which may give the Camp Nou side an edge over Arsenal.
