Guardiola delivers update on Rodri](https://www.mancity.com/news/mens/manchester-city-v-southampton-fa-cup-semi-final-injury-update-63912631)
Pep Guardiola’s lock horns with Southampton at Wembley in the last-four of the historic competition on Saturday 25 April, with kick-off scheduled for 17:15 (UK).
The Blues reached this stage with wins over Exeter, Salford, Newcastle and Liverpool – and in our previous outing – we moved to the top of the Premier League table with a 1-0 victory over Burnley.
That success over the Clarets also extended our winning streak in all competitions to five straight matches.
But we’ll need to be at our best to beat a Saints side who are enjoying an unbeaten run in all competitions of 20 games in succession.
This includes Tonda Eckert’s team’s 2-1 win over Arsenal in the FA Cup quarter-final which followed wins over Doncaster, Leicester and Fulham in the competition so far.
In anticipation of a tough test at Wembley this weekend, City’s meticulous work continued before heading to the capital.
