Liam Rosenior’s sacking was largely well-received by the Chelsea fans, and so far not one Blues player has posted a message on social media thanking the Englishman for his work.
Chelsea were on a run of five consecutive defeats without scoring in a Premier League win, and their chances of qualifying for the Champions League disappeared under Rosenior’s reign.
Some Blues players were accused of downing tools under the former boss, and it has to be said that the club have gone in the wrong direction since deciding to sack Enzo Maresca.

Chelsea reportedly want their new manager to have Premier League experience…
The decision to part ways with Maresca was not related to what was happening on the pitch, with his relationship with the decision makers reaching breaking point.
The Chelsea players were clearly not on board with the decision to part ways with the Italian, and they made that clear with social media messages to their former coach.

Marc Cucurella led the tributes, and a number of players have been disappointed behind the scenes at yet another managerial change.
Up to now, no player has issued a message to Rosenior following his departure, suggesting there is not the same affection that they had for Maresca.
While reports have stated that Chelsea players liked Rosenior as a person, it was clear there was a disagreement when it came to his tactics.
Finish our XI for the FA Cup semi-final…
Fingers crossed Pedro and Palmer are fit…
Chelsea players’ stance on Calum McFarlane
With the club keen to get this managerial appointment right, they are set to wait until the end of the season before bringing in their new permanent head coach.
This will see Calum McFarlane take interim charge of the club for the second time, starting with the FA Cup semi-final against Leeds United.
Chelsea players have respect for McFarlane, and Reece James was keen to make sure he got his praise when the Blues earned a point against Manchester City during his previous stint in charge.
With the Blues searching for Premier League experience in their next appointment, they will be finishing the season with someone in charge who has just two top-flight games under his belt.
