Barcelona winger progressing well in recovery after hamstring injury setback

The last few days have not really been easy for the FC Barcelona forward Raphinha. The Brazilian suffered an injury while playing for his national side in a friendly against France, and thus, was unable to help his team in the most decisive stretch of the season.

To make matters worse, the Blaugranes were eliminated from the UEFA Champions League [at the hands of Atletico Madrid](https://semprebarca.com/yamal-9-0-torres-8-5-atletico-madrid-1-2-fc-barcelona-player-ratings/) with the samba star still absent.

However, as [SPORT](https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/raphinha-ve-luz-final-tunel-129511702) has noted, he is now finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel, as he has returned to train on grass this week.

His recovery has gone better than expected, but for now, he is still training individually, away from the rest of his teammates, whom he can join partially from next week if everything goes well.

The Brazilian’s goal was to play in the upcoming El Clasico on 10th May, and it seems increasingly likely that he would be able to meet this objective. Before that, he can even get some minutes in Pamplona, but that is quite unlikely.

Still, getting him back for the El Clasico would not only be a big boost for Barcelona, but a good performance in that match can also help Raphinha leave this traumatic time behind him.
