The Champions League semi-finals get underway with an unmissable encounter at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday night, as reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain welcome Bayern Munich to the French capital for a tantalising first leg.
Luis Enrique's holders reunite with German opposition after making light work of two English foes in the earlier knockout rounds, following up their 8-2 win over Chelsea in the last 16 with a 4-0 aggregate victory over Liverpool in the last eight.
PSG have also prevailed in both of their last two Ligue 1 matches by 3-0 scorelines, but they still have some work to do to retain their title, whereas Bayern have already sealed the German top-flight crown in style.
Vincent Kompany's side now endeavour to banish a worrying European curse, having lost each of their last five two-legged semi-finals in the competition, but they arrive on a seven-game UCL winning streak after their 6-4 success over Real Madrid in the quarters.

Bayern and PSG have locked horns on 16 occasions throughout history, and there has not been a single draw, with Bayern leading the head-to-head nine wins to seven, and the pair have faced off regularly in recent years.
Bayern secured the victory in the most famous meeting between the two sides in the Champions League final in August 2020, winning 1-0 courtesy of a 59th-minute header from Kingsley Coman.
PSG quickly got revenge for that devastating defeat by eliminating Bayern Munich from the quarter-finals of the 2021-22 Champions League, progressing into the semi-finals on away goals after a 3-3 draw.
However, Bayern Munich have since re-established their dominance over their French opponents, winning five of their last six meetings, with their only defeat coming in the quarter-finals of the 2025 Club World Cup.
The most recent of their clashes came in November 2025, with Bayern Munich claiming a 2-1 victory at the Parc des Princes, extending their winning run over PSG in the Champions League to five straight encounters.
That victory now leaves PSG two victories behind Bayern Munich in their meetings, with the majority of the French side's wins coming in the earlier encounters between the two sides.
The opening eight games between Bayern and PSG took place in the group stage of the Champions League, and the French outfit posted five wins, including a 1-0 success in Munich back in November 1994.
