Arsenal went big on strengthening their attack last summer as they looked to push towards ending their trophy drought, and they look set to do the same thing once again this year.
The Gunners brought in Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze for a fee of over £170m combined, but despite leading the Premier League for the majority of the season now find themselves at the mercy of Man City, although they currently sit top by three points, having played a game more than their rivals.
Gyokeres has had a mixed campaign, topping the club's scoring charts with 17 goals in all competitions, but his overall play has left a lot to be desired, and sporting director Andrea Berta is already looking at ways to potentially upgrade on the Swede.
Berta Holds Talks for Victor Osimhen
Victor Osimhen
According to a report by AS, Berta was present for the Istanbul derby this weekend to take a close look at Galatasaray frontman Victor Osimhen ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Nigeria international scored as they claimed a 3-0 win over their fierce rivals, taking his tally for the season up to 20 goals and seven assists in 31 appearances across all competitions, and it's understood that Berta held face-to-face talks with Galatasaray chiefs about a potential deal for Osimhen while he was there.
Osimhen, who has been described as 'the best striker in the world', made his move to Istanbul last summer permanent following a successful loan spell from Napoli, after a huge fallout with the Serie A club. He has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League for years, and Arsenal are tempted to try again.
While the Gunners have Gyokeres, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus for the striker position currently, it's likely that the Brazilian will be moved on, and the arrival of Osimhen would hugely improve them heading into next season.
Arsenal Must Go All-Out for Osimhen

Arsenal have been one of the best teams in Europe this season, as shown by their record in the Champions League and the fact they are in the semi-finals, alongside their chase to be champions of England for the first time since 2004.
But their problems in attack have been well documented, and despite his goals it's clear that Gyokeres is not an ideal fit for the team and the way Mikel Arteta wants them to play.
A new forward who can be a reliable source of goals, and also help link play with the midfielders and wingers around him seems essential, and there aren't many better than Osimhen.
Berta knows how to get deals done when he needs to, and this could be one that's ready for him to find an agreement for to help take Arsenal to the next level.
