Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta was reportedly in Istanbul during the Galatasaray vs Fenerbahçe derby to watch potential summer transfer targets.
Turkish media widely reported that Berta was in attendance as Galatasaray beat Fenerbahçe 3–0.
Turkish journalist Serkan Korkmaz claimed on X that the Italian sporting director also held talks with Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek, with Arsenal understood to have shortlisted one player as a priority target ahead of the summer window.

According to Özgür Sancar of Diario AS, Berta was specifically there to watch Victor Osimhen.

Despite Arsenal signing Viktor Gyökeres from Sporting CP last summer, Osimhen is understood to have been identified as a key target for Mikel Arteta’s side ahead of next season.
It is also claimed that Berta has added two other Galatasaray players to the shortlist: Baris Alper Yılmaz and Ugurcan Cakir.
