What happened to Eberechi Eze against Newcastle United?

On 25th April Saturday, Arsenal had a face off against Tyne side Newcastle United in the Premier League. The Gunners had already lost their lead in the league table to Manchester City. So, a victory against the Magpies was very crucial to win the title.

As per reports, Eberechi Eze is quite positive about his injury incident. He feels that he can again feature for Arsenal very soon. The attacking midfielder is hopeful that he could play a vital role in the team to win the Premier League and Champions League as well.

He had told in the post match interview that he is fine and the substitution was just a precaution. He did not want to risk himself more and he will be alright. Mikel Arteta has informed that it was muscular niggle and it is not much. He will spectate the player’s fitness for Wednesday’s UCL match.

Eberechi Eze told, “I’m alright, I’m all good, it was just a precaution. I didn’t want to do anything, I’ll be OK”, as per Sky Sports. The 27-year-old gave his view on his role in the team. He replied fluently with telling his responsibility in the team and his aspirations at Arsenal.

He added, “My job is to help the team score and create goals, so the more I’m in those positions, the more confident I am. It’s definitely something that I try to do, I try to take responsibility whenever I play football, for me, it’s part of it. This is what the team has been pushing and working for, now that we’re here you have an opportunity to give everything.”

Eberechi Eze will look forward to return into starting eleven on Wednesday against Atletico Madrid in UCL. The player himself feels the injury is nothing as such to be scared of.
