The trip to the Emirates Stadium had initially been loosely pencilled in for Sunday, May 17, with a kick-off time to be confirmed.
But with Mikel Arteta’s side in the midst of an intense title battle with Manchester City, the game has now been selected for live coverage on Sky Sports.
Instead, the game will take place on Monday, May 18 at the later time of 8pm.
The announcement comes less than three weeks before the game, giving Clarets fans scarce chance to make travel arrangements.
Getting to and from the capital for a Monday night game will also give supporters a logistical headache.

Burnley have no more Saturday fixtures remaining, with their next game – a trip to Leeds United – taking place this Friday night.
Beyond that, Burnley host Aston Villa on a Sunday before they take on Arsenal at the Emirates.
No kick-off time has been set in stone for their final day clash against Wolves, but it’s been pencilled in for Sunday, May 24.
