Tottenham star linked with a move to Spanish giants.

Despite last weekend’s win over Wolves, the Lilywhites sit two points adrift of safety with just four games remaining this season. This means relegation remains a strong possibility for Roberto De Zerbi’s side, who are up against Aston Villa at Villa Park on Sunday.
With their Premier League status still uncertain, several clubs are paying close attention to the ongoing situation. Newly-promoted Coventry City are eyeing a sensational return for James Maddison. Serie A side Fiorentina want to sign Djed Spence to improve their full-back unit. And now another one of their regular starters is being eyed up for a potential transfer overseas.
Barcelona keeping tabs on Pedro Porro
According to a report from Spanish outlet Diario SPORT, Barcelona are monitoring the situation of five Tottenham players. One of those is Pedro Porro.
Having started last weekend’s win over Wolves, which was Spurs’ first league victory in 2026, Pedro Porro remains an integral part of their push to preserve Premier League status. The right-back has registered three goal contributions in 30 Premier League outings this season. He has started the last three games under new boss Roberto De Zerbi, most notably scoring the opener in the 2-2 draw vs. Brighton at home.
However, Porro could seek greener pastures if the unthinkable happens and De Zerbi fails to save Tottenham from dropping into the Championship. Barcelona may move for the Tottenham star in case Jules Kounde departs at the end of the season, the report adds.
Blaugrana are in a commanding position to retain the La Liga title. They are 11 points clear of bitter rivals Real Madrid with five left to play. This means Hansi Flick’s club are in a good place to attract some of the best players in the world to Nou Camp.
If Barcelona come calling, it wouldn’t be surprising if Porro is tempted to join them. The chance to play in the Champions League and the Catalan club’s sporting project would not only be alluring, but also the chance to return to his homeland after more than six years. It would also give the Spanish international the platform to spend the prime years of his career at a top club, as well as play and compete with the best talents across the world.
That said, regardless of Tottenham’s status at the end of the season, it would be naïve to rule out Barca testing the North Londoners’ resolve for Porro.
