Massimiliano Allegri is one of the names being considered for two very different managerial vacancies, a report claims.
According to TMW, Allegri has already had some contact with the Italian Football Federation and the potential directors of the new era. He hasn’t said yes or no, because he would like more guarantees about his influence.

Thus, in addition to his role as the head coach, he would also have the opportunity to make an impact at a lower level. This would completely change the Federation’s approach to talent development.
Milan on alert
He also has two years left on his contract with Milan, with an option until 2029 too, and can therefore calmly and leisurely evaluate his options. The idea of becoming Italy boss and leading a resurgence would appeal to many coaches, especially with sufficient guarantees on powers.
Then there’s the Real Madrid job, but Florentino Perez hasn’t made up his mind yet on who he wants to be the next head coach. The Athletic spoke of Jose Mourinho being the number one candidate, but his esteem for Allegri is well documented.
Speaking of Mourinho, he seemed to give his vote to Max for the Italy job in an interview with Mediaset earlier today: “I think the name of Mr. Malagò [the leading candidate to be FIGC president] is a strong one, and I’d really like him.
“He has many years of experience, he can change because he certainly understands the need for a grassroots structure. Italy is very strong in many Olympic sports, I’d go with M&M: Malagò and Max.”
