Marli Salmon has been named amongst the substitutes as Arsenal face Atletico Madrid away tonight in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.

Salmon made his Champions League debut against Club Brugge earlier in the campaign and has been on the bench for four further games in the competition.

In total, the 16-year-old defender has made four competitive senior appearances for Arsenal, with his other three outings coming in the FA Cup.

Goalkeeper Tommy Setford is also amongst the substitutes tonight after playing for the U21s last weekend.

Max Dowman is on the bench and becomes the first ever schoolboy to be called up by Arsenal for a Champions League semi-final.
