He has so far made 38 appearances, scored four goals, and registered four assists for Juventus across all competitions. Both Premier League clubs are expected to strengthen their attack in the summer window. United, closing in on Champions League qualification after a 2-1 win over Brentford, are targeting more quality in the final third.Liverpool, meanwhile, are preparing for the departure of Mohamed Salah and are already assessing replacements, with RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande also among their targets.According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus could demand at least €45million for Conceicao, with the fee potentially rising depending on his performances at this summer’s World Cup.Spalletti, who previously worked with Salah at Roma, has also drawn comparisons between the Liverpool star and Conceicao, while noting areas where the Juventus winger still needs to develop.Spalletti said: “The comparison is correct. He’s a young lad, he still has a lot of experience to gain, he needs to convince himself that he can play inside a bit, and having a man behind him shouldn’t make him anxious.“If he receives the ball on the outside and faces you, however, he becomes unmarkable. He needs to improve his shot quality, because Salah is top-notch, but Conceiçao has this intensity and ferocity in one-on-one situations that makes him really difficult to keep up with.”Conceicao remains under contract with Juventus until 2030, giving the Serie A club a strong position in any negotiations. He joined from Porto last summer for around €32million, with an initial loan quickly made permanent on a five-year deal. The Portuguese winger has also addressed the recent transfer speculation linking him with Liverpool. Conceicao said: “I know people talk about a big club, but I play for a big club where I am happy.“At the moment I am only focused on these two games with the national team and then I will focus on the final stretch of the season to help my club as much as possible.”The 23-year-old was also a key transfer target for Liverpool’s rivals Everton during the summer. Meanwhile, Manchester United and Liverpool are set to meet in the Premier League on Sunday, with just three points separating the two sides in the race for third place.
