Everton should allow Arthur Atta to join Napoli and make an approach to sign Scott McTominay in the upcoming transfer window.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport on 30 April, Antonio Conte’s team have made the Udinese midfielder one of their top priorities in the summer, but his price tag may be restrictive for the Naples club.
Atta is a target at Hill Dickinson Stadium, but the Toffees should look to sacrifice their pursuit of the French star and tempt Napoli into cashing in on McTominay.
The Serie A outfit could potentially be convinced to sell the Scotland international to finance a move for the 23-year-old ace from Udine.
David Moyes could use someone like McTominay at the Merseyside outfit to take the next step in the Premier League table and it would make sense for them to pounce on his signature.

Scott McTominay to bring winning mentality at Everton
McTominay has scored nine goals and provided three assists for Napoli in 29 league appearances this season.
Comparing the Scottish midfielder and Atta’s Sofascore heat maps, they tend to operate in similar positions, which may indicate the Serie A outfit’s willingness to part ways with the former Manchester United star.
Statistics Scott McTominay
Appearances 29

Ball recovered per game 4
Total duels won per game 5.1 (53%)

McTominay’s league record this season
The 29-year-old has turned his fortunes since leaving Old Trafford, winning the Scudetto in Naples last season.
Moyes could certainly do with someone of McTominay’s character and mentality at the Blues, especially if the fans in L3 get to witness their team qualify for Europe.
David Moyes needs reinforcements at Hill Dickinson Stadium
Everton have been linked with McTominay in recent months and they will surely need to sign a midfielder in the summer.
The Toffees could lose Idrissa Gueye at the end of the season with his contract expiring in June and Moyes will definitely need a replacement.

Fans in L3 are expecting The Friedkin Group to splash the cash in the coming months and they should use their contacts in Italy to get a deal over the line for the Scotland international.
McTominay would certainly be a marquee signing for the Merseyside outfit, who are staring a disappointing end to the campaign if they don’t get European football.
