Fulham's Ryan Sessegnon has been ruled out of Saturday's Premier League showdown with Arsenal. Manager Marco Silva delivered the news during his Thursday press conference, also confirming two further absentees while hinting that one player could be in contention to feature.
He said on Thursday: "It's not good news. Sessegnon is going to be out of the next game, and probably the one after will be the same story for him, and then we will have to assess him day by day. For the Arsenal game, for sure out. For the game after, for sure out.
"Alex [Iwobi] is out still, plus Kevin. Kenny [Tete], we will have to see how he reacts from the last two sessions. He can probably be involved in the game.
"We have some doubts on some players, but we will assess them tomorrow to see how they react from things that happened in the week."
Sessegnon's absence for the trip to Emirates Stadium is a significant blow for the Cottagers, with the ex-Tottenham man having netted the decisive goal against Aston Villa just last weekend.
Silva can, however, call upon Antonee Robinson, with the USMNT star back fully fit following a difficult injury-hit campaign. Kai Havertz has similarly endured a troubled season, with the 26-year-old currently sidelined.
He sustained a fresh injury during the victory over Newcastle United, which ruled him out of the Champions League semi-final first leg against Atletico Madrid.
Both Eberechi Eze and Bukayo Saka came on as substitutes in that game having recovered from recent injuries, with the latter's nine-minute cameo last weekend marking his first outing since mid-March.
The England winger then played the final 22 minutes in the Spanish capital, which suggests he could be in line to start against Fulham on Saturday evening.
That fixture is one of four crucial remaining league matches for Mikel Arteta's side, with the Premier League title very much still up for grabs. Manchester City kick off just over 48 hours after Arsenal in game week 35 as they travel to the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Monday evening to take on Everton.

The Gunners' semi-final second leg follows in that midweek, with a contentious 1-1 draw against Atletico unfolding on Wednesday.
Referee Danny Makkelie pointed to the spot three times on the night, but only two penalties were allowed to stand — both of which were scored — after the third was ruled out following a VAR review.
Reacting to the incident, Arteta said: "What I'm incredibly fuming with is how the hell the penalty on Ebz gets overturned in the manner that it happened when there is no clear and obvious error. And this changes the course of the game. And at this level, I'm sorry but this cannot happen."
