Arsenal take on Fulham this weekend as they look to move six points clear of Manchester City. The Gunners will be buoyed by their strong performance against Atletico Madrid in Spain, where they have secured a 1-1 draw to take back to north London.

The clash with Atleti naturally is somewhat overshadowing the domestic fixture, despite it being a huge game for Arsenal. The ability to move six points clear and pile the pressure on their rivals while taking the game count down to just three remaining is obvious.

But it will be done with a game to be played to reach a first Champions League final in 20 years. That might therefore give Mikel Arteta some questions to answer regarding the starting eleven and any potential changes.

In the back line, both full-backs could be swapped. Cristhian Mosquera is coming in for Ben White, while the returning Riccardo Calafiori replaced the excellent and consistent Piero Hincapie.

William Saliba and Gabriel will need to just continue fighting each week, with this next week, the last of the season, interrupted by a midweek fixture. Respite is coming; they just need to make it through these next three games.

Martin Zubimendi is a player in need of a rest, and Mikel Arteta has seemingly shown some willingness to try Myles Lewis-Skelly in a midfield role. As a result, Declan Rice drops into the number six position, with the youngster pushing forward.

Martin Odegaard came off the field against Atleti seemingly with an injury, and worries of his knee again causing him problems. There is no need to take the risk when Eberechi Eze is available to play and can start here.

Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard can make their first starts on the wings in quite some time. But there will be some mindfulness about the minutes going into Saka’s legs.

Viktor Gyokeres leads the line, ready to try and build up some important form following what was one of his best games of the season in Madrid. Winning and scoring a penalty, plus some good forward play, link-up and duel-winning prowess.
