Kiwior was sent to Porto on loan last summer after falling out of favour at the Emirates Stadium, and Record confirms that the Portuguese side will active that purchase of the Poland international defender.
The 26-year-old will sign a four-year deal with Francesco Farioli’s side, having featured on 37 occasions for the club.
Romano reveals deal for teenage wonderkid
Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Arsenal are exploring a move for Serbian wonderkid Vasilije Kostov, who has had a €12 million price tag put on his head." href="https://www.footballtransfers.com/en/transfer-news/uk-premier-league/2026/04/fabrizio-romano-mainoo-signs-tonali-interest-arsenal-talent-watch-mourinho-at-real-madrid" target="_blank">Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Arsenal are exploring a move for Serbian wonderkid Vasilije Kostov, who has had a €12 million price tag put on his head.
Romano said: “He is an attacking midfielder playing for Red Star Belgrade, 17 years old, a very interesting player with potential. Italian clubs and German clubs have been tracking him, but now it is true what has been reported in Serbia: Arsenal are also following Kostov closely.
“They have made contact with people close to the player and are considering a move. Arsenal want to invest in talents, not only established players, so Kostov is one of the young players they are monitoring.
“It is still early to say whether Arsenal will close the deal, but there is genuine interest. They have been scouting him and following him, so this is one to watch ahead of the summer transfer window.”
Five players named as sales ‘necessary’ for Arsenal
Arsenal will need to sell at least one major sale this summer if they wish to replicate their transfer window from last year where they spent nearly €300m.

Telegraph Sport" href="https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2026/04/28/arsenal-want-julian-alvarez-this-is-how-they-could-land-him/" target="_blank">Telegraph Sport report that the departure of at least one high-value first-team player is ‘necessary’ if Arsenal wish to splash the cash on player such as Julian Alvarez.
Academy youngsters Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly are seen as candidates to be sold due to their departures counting as ‘pure profit’ on the books.
Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus and Ben White are also named as players who could leave, while there is also ‘simmering uncertainty’ over the future of captain Martin Odegaard as he enters the final two years of his contract.
Bayern Munich consider Havertz transfer
Bayern Munich could make an approach for Kai Havertz this summer as a replacement for Nicolas Jackson, who is set to head back to Chelsea after his loan spell.

Havertz has been a long-time target of Bayern since his days at Bayer Leverkusen and Arsenal reporter James Benge believes the German international’s versatility makes the deal ‘one to monitor’ for the summer.
“Yeah, my understanding on Havertz and Bayern is that there is interest there. Nothing more than that that I’ve heard at the moment, but that is one to monitor in the summer,” Benge said on the Inside Arsenal podcast." href="https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/extra-time-with-james-benge-artetas-saka-decision/id1809140671?i=1000763824777" target="_blank">Inside Arsenal podcast.
“Because of course, Nicolas Jackson is going, so he might figure as a depth piece at Bayern, like someone that can cover a bit for Musiala and a bit for Kane.”
Gnabry on Arsenal shortlist
Mikel Arteta reportedly sees Serge Gnabry as ‘the one who got away’, having spent a portion of his youth with Arsenal’s academy, and the club still maintain an interest in the Bayern Munich forward.

Gnabry is currently injured but remains ‘high on Arsenal’s shortlist’ according to SportsBoom" href="https://www.sportsboom.co.uk/football/transfer-news/exclusive-is-gnabry-the-key-to-anthony-gordons-arrival-bayern-munich" target="_blank">SportsBoom, although there will be ‘no rushed move’ while the 30-year-old recovers.
Arsenal will not ‘risk an astronomical bid’ despite liking the player and will adopt a ‘wait and see’ approach with the German international due to his injury.
Instead, the Gunners will monitor Gnabry’s rehabilitation and analyse his response to returning to play before making a definitive final move.
