Manchester City have been told why Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes should have been sent off following the heated exchange with Erling Haaland. City claimed a 2-1 win over the Gunners in the Premier League clash at the Etihad Stadium earlier this month, where Haaland scored the winning goal.
Soon after Haaland put City into the lead, there was a heated moment between the Norway international and Gabriel.
Footage showed the Arsenal defender appearing to push his head towards Haaland’s in the exchange, with Gabriel and the City striker going on to be booked by referee Anthony Taylor.
Nearly two weeks after the game, there has been an update with the Premier League’s key match incidents (KMI) panel reviewing the incident.
