Barcelona manager Hansi Flick could hand a key opportunity to Roony Bardghji this weekend, with the young winger now in contention to start against Osasuna.
According to SPORT, the absence of Lamine Yamal has opened the door for the Swedish talent to step in and prove his value at a crucial stage of the season.
Yamal’s injury has left a clear gap on the right flank, and Bardghji is seen as the closest like-for-like option in the squad.
For what it is worth, Bardghji, who faces an uncertain future at the club, has already had a taste of responsibility in recent matches.
He came on when Yamal was forced off against Celta Vigo and was then trusted with a start against Getafe, where he played for an hour.
These appearances, although not outstanding, have given him valuable exposure, but they have also shown one concern, which is his match sharpness.
Needs more time?
With just 721 minutes played across 25 games this season, Bardghji is still building rhythm.
His return of two goals and four assists shows promise, but consistency remains a work in progress.

That said, with only a few matches left in the season, this is effectively a final audition for the Swede.
This is because Barcelona are still evaluating their attacking options, and Bardghji needs to show he can be trusted in big moments.
Competition, however, is strong, as Flick has several players who can fill in that spot.
For that matter, Marcus Rashford remains an option, even though he is more comfortable on the left side. Even the likes of Fermin Lopez and Dani Olmo can be tested.
Despite these alternatives, there is a strong case for giving Bardghji the nod.
His profile matches the role more naturally, and Barcelona may prefer to back a player who fits the system rather than adjust others out of position.
In many ways, this could be a defining moment for the young winger.
