Victor Ozhianvuna will officially complete his move to Arsenal in January next year and Gunners fans could have a lot to look forward to when he eventually does join.
Despite being just 17 years old, Ozhianvuna was named Shamrock Rovers’ player of the month for April.
The prospect is capable of playing out wide or up front but has mainly been used as an attacking midfielder and has started nine of Shamrock’s 13 league games so far this season.
Although he has yet to contribute with a goal or assist in the league this season, Ozhianvuna’s performances have often been of a high standard.
Ozhianvuna is very highly thought of and, even though he should be afforded time to adapt, he will be determined to make an impact at Arsenal as quickly as possible.
Prior to that, the Republic of Ireland youth international will look to continue impressing for Shamrock.
Meanwhile two other future Arsenal players, twins Holger (a midfielder) and Edwin Quintero (a winger), could soon be set for a spell training with the club despite the fact that they won’t join until August 2027.
According to Footy Condor, Independiente del Valle’s U17 team (the club for whom the Quintero twins currently play) are set to participate in a tournament organised by Arsenal.
The Quintero twins have reportedly been asked to report a few days earlier than the rest of their team-mates, indicating that they could be assessed by the Arsenal coaching staff for some sessions.
This is a practice occasionally followed by Arsenal – William Saliba, for instance, trained with the club at times while on loan at Saint-Etienne in 2019.
