Premier League leaders Arsenal will extend their lead at the top of the table to six points if they beat London rivals Fulham on Saturday.
The Gunners currently sit three points clear of second-placed Manchester City at the summit, although they have played a game more than the Citizens.
Mikel Arteta’s side could extend that lead to six points by beating the Cottagers, before City visit Everton on Monday evening.
In the meantime, it has emerged that the Premier League leaders are eyeing a move to sign one of their former players.
According to Sports Boom, Gunners boss Arteta is keen to re-sign winger Serge Gnabry from German champions Bayern Munich.
Gnabry, 30, spent time with Arsenal as a youngster, before departing The Emirates to join German side Werder Bremen in 2016.
He then joined Bayern a year later, and has since spent time on loan with Hoffenheim.
In total Gnabry has played 322 times for Bayern across all competitions, scoring 103 goals and registering 72 assists, but he has fallen somewhat out of favour this term.

Michael Olise and Luis Diaz have established themselves as Vincent Kompany’s first choice wingers, meaning Gnabry has only started 16 Bundesliga matches so far this season.
With that in mind, it is claimed that Arsenal are monitoring the Germany international, with Arteta very much regarding the winger as ‘the one that got away’.
It is also claimed that Arteta has identified Gnabry as an ideal candidate to bolster his squad, providing a high-level rotation option on the right flank.
Gnabry’s contract with the Bundesliga champions is set to run until the end of the 2027/28 campaign, but it appears that Arsenal are considering an audacious move to lure the attacker back to north London this summer.
