Everton are reportedly interested in making a move to sign a Watford forward during the summer transfer window.
It could be an exciting summer window for the Toffees, especially if they qualify for European football this season.
Everton entered a new era last year under their new ownership, spending significantly in the previous summer window.
The new additions have helped them turn from a relegation-battling side to one that has an outside chance of qualifying for Europe with four games remaining.
They have an opportunity to go again in the market later this year, and there's no doubt they still need reinforcements in certain areas of the pitch.
Everton Eyeing Watford Transfer
David Moyes
According to a report from Sports Boom, Everton are one of the sides showing an interest in signing Watford winger Nestory Irankunda in the summer transfer window.
Any deal is complicated by Bundesliga side Bayern Munich having a buy-back clause in the deal and a 50% sell-on fee, meaning Watford are likely to demand a significant figure to allow him to depart.
It's claimed that the Championship club could demand in the region of £17m in the summer transfer window.
Everton aren't the only Premier League club to be showing an interest in the young forward, while the likes of Fiorentina and Bayer Leverkusen are also monitoring him.
Irankunda Deal Doesn't Make Sense for Everton
Everton winger Tyler Dibling warms up
Signing a young, inconsistent winger with lots of potential doesn't make a lot of sense for Everton at the moment.
The Toffees brought young Tyler Dibling to the club from Southampton last summer, and the England Youth International has struggled to make an impact under David Moyes.
Bringing in someone like Irankunda, described as 'rapid', will only hamper the development of Dibling, while he's also unlikely to make a significant impact at senior level just yet.
If Everton are to bring in a new right winger during the summer transfer window, it would make a lot more sense to sign someone a little more ready-made.
